The apprenticeship training program provides an opportunity for a balanced approach of on-the-job training and related technical instruction to achieve the position of journeyperson in one of the state-approved programs. The length of the program depends on the trade selected and can range from two to five years. The program encourages the transfer of skills and knowledge from master journeymen and journeywomen to apprentices to further employment potential in their trade.
