Medical Assisting
All students completing the Medical Assisting program will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement and are eligible to attempt the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and/or the California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification exam. Students, who have been awarded a Certificate of Achievement in Medical Assisting, may continue and complete the additional courses needed for Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. A grade of "C" or better must be maintained in all courses to continue in the program and retain a Medical Assisting major. Course repetition in this program is not permitted.
