Hotel Management
The Hotel Management program emphasizes leadership and management unique to the industry, business communications, legal and legislative requirements for lodging operators, and sales and marketing related to guest accommodation. The curriculum teaches profitability and productivity measures, operational effectiveness, and how to achieve success in the service component demanded in world-class hotel facilities. Coursework is supplemented with participation in field excursions and opportunities to learn from and interact with industry professionals and experts. Courses prepare students for entry-level supervision and oversight in any of the lodging segments.
